Event Description
This course offers wine lovers a unique chance to explore the more unusual and hard-to-find wines on the market.
Post Phylloxera & WWII, many indigenous vineyards were grubbed up in favour of high yielding, sellable varieties. A few pockets of local & near extinct grape varieties remained.
Luckily, future generations have seen the downside to a world full of ubiquitous grapes and are making great efforts to save and expand these treasured and hard to come by vines.
Join us as we taste our way through the hardest to find, rarest and most endangered grapes on the planet!
