Event Description
The Rhine is one of the greatest rivers in Europe. From its source high up in the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland, it carves its way through the lesser knowen (but amazingly delicious!) wine regions of Switzerland before heading to the awesome Alsace.
Thereafter, it flows its way majestically into the heart of Germany passing through Pfalz, Baden, Nahe, Mosel and Rheingau.
Whilst the river alone isn't responsible for these incredible wines, it does play a significant part in scultping the landscape, the soil & the vinyeards; warming the climate and providing the perfect set of grape-growing conditions needed for world class wines!
So join us as we sail down the Rhine, exploring it's wine treasures!
