Event Description

It has long been acknowledged that the country that is now Georgia is the cradle of wine-making, over 6000 years ago.

Steeped in history, their wine-making traditions go back centuries and yet remain, today, very unchanged.

Join us on a wine-tasting journey as Victoria guides you through an evening of history and culture. You will taste both European styles (wines fermented/matured in stainless steel or oak) as well as the famous traditional styles produced in qvevri (large clay pots), with some being subject to longer skin macerations.

Get ready for a truly unique and fascinating evening !

Your tasting will include: tasting samples of six carefully selected wines, full wine notes & handouts, a 2 hour interactive presentation, with Q&A throughout, led by our wine tutor.
