Gin is on a roll in the UK at the moment with new micro-distilleries opening up seemingly every month in the UK but what is gin, where was it first made, which country drinks the most gin and what are the styles of gin available today?
Find out everything you need to know about gin at this fascinating two hour tasting. We'll be taking a look at (and smelling) a range of botannicals, then nosing and tasting six gins from London, Kent, Surrey, Dorset and Sussex alongside Fevertree tonic waters.
We change the gins around at our very popular monthly gin tastings so if you have attended a previous gin tasting with Kent Wine School you can come again and experience six completely different gins.
Gins will include six from the following:
- The Botanist
- Gin Mare
- Greensand Ridge
- Seven Sisters
- Mayfield Gin
- Pipehouse Tunbridge Wells Gin
- Silent Pool
- Chapel Down gin
This tasting is great for gin lovers and anyone who wants to find out more about gin and how it is made. You can buy it as a gift here.
